One day a developer friend of mine came home to tell me an interesting idea he has in mind: a place where local politicians could show their proposals for 2011 elections.
I was responsible for developing the sketches and the frontend layout as well as the backend structure, which would ensure that each party can raise its platform proposals in separate areas: health, education, transit, among others. When the project was finished, we went to "sell" the product to the political parties. We gave letters to each of the bunkers and chatted with each of them.
While many of the politicians were interested in the idea, unfortunately neither of the parties raised any proposal to our website. That gave us a failure to the product, but a great way of gaining experience for each of us.
